Marijka - Marijka Danielle Octavia Fraser Kuipers

Since the text on this page is becoming increasingly stale - and since the children are now getting on in years, able to mostly feed themselves, pick out flattering clothes, and travel by plane for short distances without being "that child" - we going to trim it all down and just stick to the photos.

Marijka is now a whopping four and is working on making her personality forceful with a less strident tone. She's a ton of fun and as we recently found is perfectly comfortable playing with all sorts of animals, including snakes, parrots, tarantulas and lizards (see Gus's 6th birthday photos!). She's done a round of Spanish, and is enjoying her new swing set in our new biggish back yard, along with doing all-of-the-things with verve and determination.

Gus - Augustus William Niklaas Fraser Kuipers

Gus recently turned 6 and is active and running and climbing on everything, including his dad, and recently got to the point of ducking his head under water, riding his bike all over, working on his soccer, learning a touch of spanish, and doing a parallel bar pike. He's working on being less twitchy, and remembering to not bring bugs or slugs into the house...
