VHeadline-L is a distribution-only list with news and views in English about what's happening in Venezuela - South America. It's an independent cyberjournal published 5 days a week (except holidays) and has a VENews feature supplement each Sunday. Production costs are borne by advertising and sponsorship which has no editorial control. VHeadline-L seeks to fill a void where, typically of Latin American news on the internet, English language coverage of Venezuelan news and features is already swamped by Spanish-language services. VHeadline-L is *not* intended as a tourist brochure but tourism sector news is also covered when condisered relevant to general editorial.
