Ha Long Bay

We went to Ha Long on a Sinh Cafe trip and quite enjoyed it despite the weather. Ha Long Bay is the site of over 3000 limestone islands like in the pix above - the rain made it a bit of a pain but made for some beautiful scenes. Quite the place and well worth the 2 days.

We spent the night between the two days in Cat Ba town on Cat Ba Island and enjoyed playing pool and darts with a few other people on the tour. The rain made it a bit difficult to get around outside...

Sights

Hang Thien Cave
Comments: Amazing cave done up with an amazing array of really ugly coloured disco lights. Might have been an impressive cave but the rainbow of colours did nothing but creep us out.
Cost: no idea, included in the tour
Worth it?: if you're there anyway...

Meals

Ate at all the Sinh Cafe places with nothing outstanding.
