Spent these two days in the delta on a trip with Sinh Cafe (US$15/each). Was a decent tour, amazing for the price, but a bit too much time - as most tours are wont to be like - sitting on the boat and ina bus. We left Saigon, stopped at a couple of places, got onto a boat, toured the delta, stayed in Can Tho (pop. 300,000) over night, spent the morning seeing a few sites, caught a bus back to Saigon.

Sights

Lots of small stops on this trip and loads of comfortable views from the boat on the delta canals. Only once specific named spot that we hit though. The pix will have to do us for the rest.

Rung Tran Forest
Comments: Absolutely beautiful. Only way to see it well is on the boat ride included with the Sinh tour we took. Takes about 30 minutes and you get a slow poll through the jungle viewing paper trees, mine fields (from a distance) and the Viet Cong command centres hidden here.
Cost: VND 23K
Worth it?: definitely
